Belongs to Christ

Galatians 5:24–25 (ESV)

²⁴ And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

²⁵ If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

One of the many signs of a person who belongs to Christ is in verse 24, "Crucify the flesh with all its passions and desires." this does not mean to never have fun or never do anything for self but it does mean to kill all the desires to fix myself with things like shopping, sleeping in, drugs, and so on. It also means to put Gods will first no matter what is going on in your life. To always seek Him in all things, to spend time with Him even when you do not want too. In good times and bad you will love Him just as He loves you. This list can be and should be infinitely long. Him first, and always.
